What it is

and what it is not

What IS spiritually anyway? Well to me it is a deep connection with what members of Alcoholics Anonymous call a “Higher Power”. Which means nothing to me now, though at one time it did. I am a recovered alcoholic with over 30 years sober time, so I understand what the members mean by it. To me, when I was newly sober, meant anything that was more powerful then the bottle was. I was 26 years sober before I found my real “Higher Power”, a power that is greater than all the false higher powers I used in early sobriety. This power is GOD! And Jesus Christ.

Yes it is just a simple cross yet it means so much! It is the symbol of so much life in Christ and the Lord God. The Cross is become a symbol of Love of Christ. I wear a Cross at all times. To me it is not to remind me of my LOVE of God, but remind me if I claim to be a Christian I had better darn well act like one at all times.

Protection By Angels

Angels & Spiritually

Protection for us

Yes there are Angels in Heaven and on Earth protecting us, passing on the Word of Jesus. We see them in the innocence of childhood, yet as we grow up we lose the ability to see and hear them. That explains most of the hate, crime, all sorts of evil in the world. We don’t hear our Angels of LOVE sent by God to help Humans remain loyal to Him.We don’t hear the LOVE he gives us, and we don’t give it back to Him through the Only Begotten Son of God, Jesus.

LOVE and Spiritually

That is all you need

The old saying “All you need is Love” was right, except the love they are talking about is not the LOVE you get from Jesus and through Him God The Father. The LOVE of God is truly unconditional. He LOVES us even when we don’t return the love Him back. It is free you don’t have to ask for it, it is just there.

God & America

What does history say about it

What does God have to do with America? Well if you have studied any real history, not the nonsense taught in school these days. You know that answer. From the earliest days of the country long before it was a country just raw frontier from Long Island to California. God has played a large role. He lead the early settlers here so they could practice their faiths in a way they wanted to. Leaving England from Dutch harbors the people wanted to be free from the Church of England and want to be able to worship God according to what they believed in. It was God who lead the Founding Fathers during the struggle for independence, and writing of our founding documents.
