WINNING/LOSING

Winning/Losing

Is it everything?

Winning is it really everything or is there more to life than that? I wonder myself if I need to “Win” every time of can I “lose” once in a while? What is losing anyway? For that matter what is “Winning”?

YES/NO

Maybe?

Yes/no/maybe? when are they important? Are they ever important to us as individuals, in everyday life? I have to say yes they are important to us everyday. We are taking about “luck” and is there such a thing? Is noticing a toy on the floor and not stepping on it luck or skill? You decide for me it is luck that i see the toy. When is a Maybe important? I for the life of me am not able to find a time that maybe is important, however, we hear it a lot. From our parents, spouses, bosses, co-workers, friends everyone from time to time. We get yeses and noes all the time as well. They are important, ask for raise from your boss and see what your reaction is to a NO or a YES is how about a MAYBE?

What is Luck

When it comes to Winning or Losing is it Luck or skill? Well that depends on what you are doing now does it. If you are at a casino gambling it is luck or skill in a poker game? Since there is a limited number of cards and combinations of those cards it is luck and skill. How about a crap game or a slot machine? To lose at a “Crap” game is not lack of skill though it is numbers, called “The Odds”! You can “win” or you can “lose” with the throw of a pair of dice. Same when you put money in a “Slot Machine” and pull the handle, it is a matter of the “Odds”.

OH yes those “Odds”, don’t ask me to figure them out I am not that much in to math. However I can say that you can beat the odds. whether at a casino or at politics. It is a matter of how often and what you do that can “even the Odds” so to speak. Once playing Keno on a slot machine, for a couple years. I was consistently winning. I played the same numbers on the same machines 2 times a week in the same order each time. Over a period of months I started to win often and it continued as long as I played it that way. So you can “beat the Odds”.

The End

Enough of this

OK, I will end this non-political piece. I just was not able to come up with one that really fit. I could make it work by saying what is Winning/Losing to a politician? Everything, as it is winner take all the marbles, loser goes home to plan the the next campaign. Some are good losers others are bad, some are good winners and there are bad winners. Which is which depends on which side of the aisle you are on.,
